Quality Control Manger

Dr. Chathurika Rathnayake earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Iowa in 2016. Throughout her graduate research she gained knowledge in extraction, separation and quantification of variety of organic molecules, sugars and ions.

She has years of experience using gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry and flame ionization detectors and high performance liquid chromatography coupled with electrochemical and UV detectors. Her skills also include maintaining laboratory instruments, keeping chemical and equipment inventories and preparing standard operating procedures.

As the Quality Control Manager, Chathurika coordinates with Research Chemists and works on developing and executing required methodologies to analyze Obiter Research’s products to make sure they meet expected quality requirements.
